Oh the idiots

Today we got the first snow of the season. And as usual so many idiots have not put on their snow tires!!! Just like last year, and the year before that and the year before that and the.....Saw lots of cars and some trucks in the ditches. Huge long queues due to people on summer tires. It usually takes me less than one hour to get to college, today it took me over two hours each way. Going home there had been an accident in a long hill, after 30-40 minutes in the queue, I got close enough to a side road and took the short cut around hill and got home sooner that way.

It's not snowing tomorrow, so that's good. And hopefully more people will have snow tires on.

~ MayK - who got her snow tires on last week!!!

New tut - Unlock Halloween

I finished my first internship at the hospital and I'm happy to say I passed it. Makes me so happy. Now it's back to the books and two weeks of lectures to get ready for two exams in November and December. One of them is an exam in patology and farmacology, I'm really dreading that exam, so much to learn for it.

Any hoot, I now have some more time and energy to write tuts and make tags, as long as that lasts LOL.

Here's my last Halloween tut of 2008. I have it up in my new website :-).

Go HERE for the tut.

OMG OMG!!!

I just bought my own domain to host my tutorials. MSN is closing down and I looked and looked around to find where to host my tutorials. I found nothing I liked until I found freeweb. However, it was too small to host my tuts, so I checked their prices and terms. I didn't like it. I'm a member of TWI so I checked their bandwidth thread and one member there recommanded http://www.one.com/, it's a Danish webhotell and they have support in my native language - Norwegian, and they were CHEAP compared to others. I'm on their smallest package and we'll see from there how it goes. And best of all the name I wanted was not taken.

So as soon as I get things up and running, I will tell you the address to my brand new tutorial site!!!

Oh, I'm so exited. I do hope I'm able to do all this myself. They have templates, so I have to use that, I'm not that good at HTML yet. LOL!

Wish me luck!
